Grades: 6-12
Air Force Association (AFA) CyberCamps are week-long camps held during specified weeks between June and August each summer. The camps are designed to be conducted over five days – Monday through Thursday, consisting of approximately 4 hours of instructions each day, while Friday is reserved for the CyberPatriot competition.

AFA Standard CyberCamps are designed for high school and middle school students who are just getting into cybersecurity. Standard AFA CyberCamp teaches beginner students the basics. These include Intro to CyberPatriot, Intro to Virtual Machines, Cyber Ethics, Windows 10 (security policies, account management, file protections, and auditing and monitoring), Ubuntu 16 (terminology and concepts, and basic user interface security, basic command line, and intermediate security).
