Technology Symposium: IT/OT and Emerging Technology




Dear Members,

ISACA Malaysia Chapter is organizing a Technology Symposium: IT/OT and Emerging Technology for IT, Risk and Security professionals to develop better understanding of the emerging technology and trends in our current digital landscape. Regardless of your working experience, this session will help you to become more aware of the technology trends and risks and what you can do to mitigate and protect your organization.

In this talk, the speakers will provide insights from their experience and will discuss the following topics:

•       Emerging Technology and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Solutions

The Speakers

The speakers Jaco Benadie and Karen Koh are both Cybersecurity and Risk professionals with extensive experience and skillsets in these areas. Jaco is a Cybersecurity Partner with EY and has over 16+ years of experience in the areas of Cyber Security for OT/Industrial Control Systems and IT. He specializes in the Energy and Natural Resources Industry, with deep expertise in Critical National Infra Sectors.

Karen Koh is a Partner at EY SG specialized in Risk Consulting with a focus in business and technology transformation. She leads and deliver solutions that enables security and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). Karen is also the current serving Director of the ISACA SG Chapter where she was one of the panel speaker in the 2022 SheLeadsTech Conference organized by ISACA SG in March earlier this year.
