Chapter Scholarship

ISACA has approximately 220 chapters around the global, representing nearly 165 countries. ISACA chapters are uniquely positioned to build the workforce on a global scope. The ISACA Chapter Scholarship Program is designed to maximize the strengths of both the ISACA chapter and One In Tech through a collaborative approach. They are developed jointly with chapters and OIT and are managed/awarded by OIT. This ensures chapters receive a consistent, formalized, and streamlined awarding process and avoids chapters having to build a separate program.

Through the Chapter Scholarship Program’s participating ISACA chapters, OIT’s efforts to impact global communities are supported. ISACA Chapters are provided matched funds and full program management so they can maximize their philanthropic support within their own global regions and communities. In this collaborative approach, OIT and chapters together can build impacts which are highly applicable and meaningful to each chapter region. The ultimate goal of these awards are to help students and professionals in chapter regions to secure and accelerate career trajectories and, subsequently, narrow the workforce gap by pipelining untapped talent into employment opportunities.

The scholarships are funded by ISACA Chapters with a funding percentage match from OIT. The ISACA chapter funding the scholarship may be able to fund-raise for their own scholarship through OIT’s donation portal. These scholarships may be either annual or one-time award opportunities. They are largely focused on Academic or Professional Development support. These Chapter Scholarships are aligned with Fall cycles.

Fall Cycle

  • Applications open October 1
  • Applications due October 30
  • Selection process completed December 15

Applicants and recipients of OIT Chapter scholarships are specific to chapter-identified philanthropic goals as well as base OIT audience specifics.

While the criteria for chapters will be specific as determined by OIT and the chapter, all opportunities are designed to build pathways for untapped talent to address the gaps in the global cyber workforce.

Check back for application information on 1 October 2022.
